Today's quick exercise works on strengthening arms and will only take a minute. As I've mentioned before, this daily fitness series is designed to give you a tiny break in what can be a grueling time of year, a time when most accountants don't remember to take care of themselves. At the bottom of each exercise there is a link to the entire library, so you can always go back and repeat earlier exercises.

Today's exercise strengthens your arms and also can be used as part of a warm-up routine for other exercises. You can do this exercise while sitting upright in your desk chair. When you're finished, do a relaxing movement to prevent your arms from feeling sore.
- With both arms extended to the side, bend at the elbows, allowing your forearms, wrists, and hands to drop straight down.
- Return arms to a straight position, just like the windshield wipers on your car.
- Repeat 16 times.
