Editor's Note
This year's Robert Half International 2009 Salary Guide has been released showing a modest increase in salaries for our profession. In addition, the guide points to the benefit of adding special skills to enhance an employee's worth. Salaries are serious business, so we're not just talking about schmoozing skills or the ability to be chatty around the coffee pot. When you're looking for a job or a promotion, you've got to stand out from the crowd. What are the top skills that you find are most sought after in your own workplace? Add your comments to today's lead story.

Best regards,
