Editor's Note

The weather couldn't have been nicer for the 92nd running of the Indianapolis 500 this weekend, and the winner, Scott Dixon, ran a classy race. But classiness begins to break down when you look behind the lead car to the finger-pointing and other attempts at trying to place the blame on who prevented whom from winning, placing, or finishing the race. Instead of accusing others of getting in our way, moving too slowly or too quickly, or lacking the necessary experience to make it to the finish line, we can all get along a little better if we take responsibility for our own actions, including the actions of responding to something unexpected that prevented us from achieving our goal. Meanwhile, this week my computer monitors are being visited by a swarm of flying ants. I'll figure out a way to deal with it.
