Editor's Note
There's some interesting news in the tax world as we progress to the end of the year. The IRS is ramping up its efforts to obtain information about taxpayers with foreign bank accounts and has signed an agreement with Liechtenstein to obtain information. Meanwhile in the states, irate TurboTax users are staging a revolt on Amazon.com over what they see as an unwelcome price increase in their favorite tax software program. AccountingWEB is unveiling its own version of tax holiday cheer with a knock-off of "The Twelve Days of Christmas," called "The Twelve Days of Tax Savings." Happy holidays to all and enjoy a peaceful lull before the tax season storm.

Best regards,
